Victorian Gauged Brick Arch Restoration

Four Walls Building Company was commissioned to carry out the specialist restoration of a series of Victorian gauged brick arches at a prominent riverside property in Leamington Spa.

Working with a conservation-led approach, our experienced heritage brickwork team carefully dismantled and rebuilt the damaged arches using traditional techniques. Wherever possible, the original red rubbing bricks were salvaged and reused to faithfully recreate the historic detailing and preserve the character of the building.

Every element of the restoration was completed with precision, from the gauged brick arches to the decorative brickwork above, ensuring the repaired façade blended seamlessly with the original Victorian architecture.
